I still remember the day my mum took me to the Clarins  counter introducing me to the world of cleanse, tone, moisturise and how to properly look after your skin. From the beautiful lady in red I bought a beauty flash balm, Multi-Active day cream, Daily Energiser toner, and a Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover.

Since that day I must have re purchased the Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover  over 20 times. The product has a light weight watery consistency that doesn’t sting your eyes (rare). It takes the toughest of waterproof eye make up off, and even works as an eye re-booster and refresher in a morning if you wake up with puffy and tired eyes.

For application I use 2 of the Boots Cotton Wool Double Faced Oval Pads (50 for £1.89). These cotton pads are my favourite as they have 2 different textured surfaces… the light side for creams and lotions, and the compact side for liquids.

I saturate the middle of the compact side with the remover, then press on my closed eye lid for 5 seconds to make sure the product sinks into my lashes and lid and begins to break your eye make up down. Then in gentle sweeping motions I wipe the pad outwards and continue in a circular motion until the product has gone. If you have very heavy eye make up on then just repeat the process until all of your eye make up is removed.

Although this product is a little on the pricey side, Clarins  is a brand that creates quality skin care products that you will never be disappointed with. Girls in your teens, this is a great first skincare brand to look into as they provide different skincare products for different ages. This means you wont have the same products as your mum, and she wont have the same products as her mum – Clarins  is just fab.

I guarantee that this product will not let you down, and it will soon become a staple part of your skincare routine. – let me know how you get on.

love,
