Bubble bars are my favourite Lush product so I’m happy that they have introduced a new one!. I prefer bubble bars to bath bombs as I feel like they leave the skin even more moisturised and silky smooth. They also make bath time so much more luxurious! This bubble bar caught my eye at the weekend as id never seen it before and I thought it looked very interesting, then the name and smell swayed it for me and I popped it in a little black paper bag without a second thought.

The Modfather makes your bath turn an electric blue and smells like chocolate orange. Bath bubbles form in copious amounts creating a relaxing bath any time of the day. I used this bath bar in the evening and found it very relaxing, Lush also describes this bubble bar as being ‘reviving’ with its scent so can also be used as a refresher and rejuvinator too.

Usually I don’t think of getting a male something from Lush but this is now a definite option. I think that this is a lovely gift to give to your Dad for Fathers Day (19/06/2016 btw UK) or something different to give to a male friend as a pick me up. I would also happily give this bubble bar to one of my girls as what girl doesn’t like the smell of chocolate orange. Its very versatile for a bubble bar isn’t it!

The size of this bubble bar is similar to a Lush bubbleroon and can be broken in half to be used for 2 baths like most of the bubble bars. This means that technically you get 2 for the price of one… this is always a winner for your purse and your bath time!

How to use a Lush Bubble Bar: Funny story…not long ago my friend bought the yuzu and coconut Lush bubbleroon  and text me saying that it wasn’t fizzing when she put it in her bath… I giggled to myself and told her to take it out her bath, let some water out and just crumble it under a running tap. She was very grateful for this and ended up having the bath of dreams. So here is how you do it…

1. Rinse to soften

2. Crumble

3. Enjoy!

So that’s basically what to do with a bubble bar! Sometimes the bars crumble into big pieces so just run your hand round the bath the catch any big bits and run under water again. You bath will then be left extremely bubbly and delightful.

The collection also contains a bath bomb called ‘Lava Lamp’ but you’ll have to keep an eye out on my Blog/Twitter @beautyanalyst1 for that as a new post is coming your way soon!

Strainer! Seriously, try a small strainer for your bubble needs. Load the strainer up with your chunked up bubble bar and run it under the tap – super hot water makes bubbles happiest. 🙂
