Hey Beauts. I’ve not done a hair care post yet so thought now would be the perfect time to do one; especially as I’ve been dying to tell you about this amazing Liz Earle trio.

I first heard about Liz Earle on Youtube. Liz Earle is an English Lady who creates beautiful skincare, hair care, and make up products using all natural ingredients. Everyone raves about her Cleanse and Polish product which is amazing – so this is where you might have heard of her also.

About 2 months ago I realised that Liz Earle also did a hair care range. So on payday I went and brought her Botanical Shine Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Care Oil.

Just to let you know before you read this post my hair is medium-long length, thin, and quite easy damaged. In the application parts of this review, change what you would do to match your hair type.

So I’m sure your wondering why anyone would spend £37 on hair care products, but now I’m here to tell you and justify why these products are amazing for your hair.

Botanical Shine Shampoo and Conditioner for Normal Hair

Conditioner (white) Shampoo (blue)

Shampoo:
The shampoo smells very citrus-y and feels like your going on your holidays. This shampoo makes your hair feel like its had a proper good wash. All of the hair products you’ve used the past few days (I was my hair on the 3rd/4th day) feel like they have been stripped out your hair; leaving it refreshed, light, and clean. The consistency of this shampoo is very thin almost like thick lemon juice…, this puzzled me at first but the lady said on the counter that the more water you have in your hair the more bubbles.

So Application… Get in the shower and wet your hair for at least a minute, enjoy shutting your eyes and letting the world drift away and letting your hair become soaked by all of the warm water! Then use about a 50p sized amount of shampoo to work through (medium to long hair) root to tip into a lather. Spend some time making sure the product has come out of your hair to make sure you get a light and voluminous result when drying your hair.

Conditioner:
The conditioner smells similar to the shampoo as this also includes citrus ingredients. This conditioner is one of the best ones I’ve ever used and I would happily repurchase again and again. The consistency is that of a normal conditioner – slightly thicker and has that nourishing look about it. The conditioner left my hair feeling nourished, conditioned (obvs) and silky smooth. I felt that the shampoo and conditioner worked really well together to stop your hair feel weighed down with product. The two left my hair feeling really clean and light weight – also I found that my hair lasted another day before I had to wash it which was an even bigger bonus!

Application: Use a small 10p sized amount on the lower half of your wet hair. Leave for at least 1 minute (shave your legs) and then make sure you spend a while washing the product out until your hair feels light and smooth.

Now time for my new favourite hair product of all time: the Botanical Shine Nourishing Hair Oil.

Hair Oil bottle and packaging (front)

This golden oil of wonder is the stuff of dreams. I found this Oil to be what my hair was trying to tell me it needed for years. I immediately had nourished, non brittle, smooth, silky, and shiny hair. This is the stuff you need if you want to have the worlds glossiest and healthy looking hair out there. I knew this stuff was good when everyone all of a sudden people started saying my hair looked really glossy and what had I used to make it look amazing.

Hair Oil packaging (back)

Application: I use this oil on towel dry hair, or on the ends of a plait, pony tail, or bun to add a bit of grip and extra shine. – Don’t put it near your roots as your hair will go greasy (be warned). The pump disperses the perfect amount of product into your palm – I use one pump and that suits my hair fine. I immediately rub both my palms together to cover my hands in product, then i run the product through the ends and lower half of my hair. I then dry my hair and watch the gloss come though. This product doesn’t undo the damage of the shampoo and conditioner as it still makes your hair feel light weight and clean.

I know this hair oil is expensive, however a little goes a long way. One pump 2 days a week wont use it all up very quickly, so this product should definitely be an investment piece. Enjoy it, use it properly and have guaranteed fabulous hair everyday of the week.

I would buy these products for yourself for everyday use, keep them for holidays, weddings, special celebrations when you want to give your hair something extra. I use the hair oil every week now, then I’ve saved the shampoo and conditioner just for special occasions.

Have you tried out anything from Liz Earle before? I would definitely recommend this brand for all ages. If you would like good quality products that always provide great results then here is where you need to go. I normally purchase Liz Earle from John Lewis Nottingham – the ladies are always lovely in there and make a fuss of you no matter who you are.

let me know what you think of these products in the comments below, on Twitter or  on Instagram.I’d love to know your thoughts. Also send me links of your favourite hair care products.

love always,
