I think I have found the dupe for MAC Velvet Teddy beauts…
I can’t believe that this is my first Lipstick blog post! I am such a lip stick collector so expect plenty more over the next few months!
I follow Rimmel on Instagram and noticed that they were releasing the Kate Moss 15 years with Rimmel collection of 6 lipsticks (3 red and 3 nude shades). So off I went down to Superdrug and had a cheeky look and thought I’d treat myself.
I love nude lipsticks so didn’t really look at the Red shades too much. Although there was a very beautiful deep oxblood red called ‘Iconic Nude’ which I now regret not buying but I might pick that up on my next trip.
I was swatching the 3 nudes and fell in love with the shade ‘BOHO NUDE’. This is a red/brown toned nude which would actually suit any skin type. I instantly thought OMG THIS IS VELVET TEDDY and snapped it straight up and skipped to the till!!!
This Lipstick smells like sweets and cakes to me and lasts all day. I use a nude lip liner to make sure it stays put. This lipstick is Rimmel’s ‘Lasting Finish’ formula and has quite a MAC ‘cream sheen’ consistency. This lipstick does not provide a matte texture on the lips. I think this lipstick would look lovely in an season, great with a tan or a lovely lipstick for everyday natural make up. I would pair it with bronzed skin or a brown and gold smokey eye.
I also love the pink metallic packaging with Kate’s signature. I think it makes the lipstick look high end and looks lovely in your make up bag. Well done Kate Moss on your 15 years with Rimmel. The make up is such good quality and definitely makes me feel beautiful.
Have you tried any Rimmel Lipsticks? I would definitely recommend adding this one to your collection. Let me know if you love this post or not in my comments.
love you all loads and loads,
