I recently did a poll on my twitter asking who loved reading magazine freebie blog posts as much as me – you all loved them so I thought I’d do my own!
Especially when I read the June Glamour and noticed that a benefit gimme brow sample would be given for free!
I am a frequent reader of Glamour, I like that the magazine is affordable (£2), has a lot of different content, and is quite a bulky read (200+ pages). The beauty section is also about 10-20 pages long too, which is quite rare for a celebrity gossip/fashion/beauty magazine. I would say that Glamour is targeted towards women about age 20+ as it gives a variety of high end and high street content. In the July Glamour issue I enjoyed reading about the ‘summer hair update’ (page 164) and ‘6 dating do’s’ (page 63).
I manged to pick up an issue with a benefit gimme brow in shade ‘5’ (deep dark brown). They are also doing samples of shade ‘1’ which is light, – so sorry to you lot with medium toned brows!
Straightaway I pulled the gimme brow out the packet and popped it on my brows. This brow mascara is perfect for adding definition to already full brows (like mine). The deep dark brown shade is really pigmented too so I don’t need to use any other brow products such as the maybeline brow palette – read here. The sample is very small, however you dont need to use much product so it will last for agesss! I will definitely purchase the full size product when the sample is empty as I think its really quite fabulous!
Within this issue you also got a 10ml sample of the new Garnier Ultimate Blends -Mythic Olive – weightless nourishing hair balm. This hair balm has been specially created for dried out hair and is meant to be used after conditioner for extra nourishment! I cant wait to try this and see if it makes my hair look nourished and shiny!
Get yourself down to your local newsagents/supermarket and get this issue! I think its worth getting especially as you get to sample a free high end brow product that is worth £18.50.
Do you have any of the new benefit brow products? which would you recommend?
