I was attracted micellar water after first reading about it in a magazine quite a few months ago. Now i’m on my third 400ml bottle of the stuff I thought it was only appropriate to share how I feel about it on my blog!

Micellar water is now all over the high street. The formula allows the water to act almost like a little hoover or magnet lifting all of your make up off your skin leaving it feeling fresh and clean.

I have tried a few Micellar waters over the past few months (one included Nivea which I do not recommend unfortunately); However the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water has now become a staple part of my daily skin care routine. Also… I love anything pink so I’m happy for this to sit pretty on my dressing table everyday.

I first picked up a 125ml version from superdrug for about Β£2. I’d definitely recommend doing this as then you don’t have to waste your pennies on a big bottle that you make not like. The 125ml bottle soon was empty so I purchased the big 400ml one. The product says on the bottle that you get 200 uses from it, I would say that you get even more and for the price that you pay for this product is incredibly good quality and lasts AGES.

I love all skin products that don’t contain the word ‘parfum’ or ‘perfume’. These products really irritate my skin however the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is perfume free so I don’t need to worry about a thing!. For those of you who have very bed or sensitive skin give this stuff a go as it has actually stopped my skin breaking out as much and is very soothing. Occasionally I use this to remove my eye make up but I still use my Clarins Gentle Eye Make Up Remover which you can read about here. I love the way that this product lifts make up off my face and leaves my skin feeling radiant.

One of the best things about this make up remover is the fact that it takes your lipstick off like a dream. MAC Ruby Woo comes off super easy and you don’t get that stupid red stain left round your lips for the rest of the day! #result.

I normally go though how to use each product within my reviews, however im going to leave this one to Garnier as the pictures are super cute! – Read Here. Get your cotton pads at the ready!

I would say that this is a product for all ages as it is suitable for all skin types and isn’t harsh on the skin. I would recommend using it in the morning as a bit of a pick me up, and in the evening to remove you make up before a cleanser. I would also say that this stuff is perfect for any of you who have caught the sun recently on your face and maybe look a bit like Rudolph (me currently) as the Micellar Water doesn’t sting and feels very soothing for your skin.

Its safe to say – YES this stuff if worth the hype.

Have you tried Micellar Water before? What do you think? I really want to try the new Garnier Micellar Water with oil but I’m a bit scared! Would you recommend?

Let me know in my comments or on Twitter.

Have a lovely day,

I purchased this recently too, I’ve got super sensitive skin but this seems to be the only micellar water than my skin likes. Really does give you a ‘clean’ feeling and I love that it can be used on your eye make up too. Lovely little review and I completely agree with you! (I also didn’t rate Nivea much either)
