I recently requested a mini series idea on my twitter. This post is the first of 3 hair care/styling posts – my first mini series on my blog *YAY*.

Batiste is an affordable hair care brand that have been a big player on the high street hair aisle for donkeys years. They are well known for their range of dry shampoo’s which are amazing and now they have recently released a stylist range for anyone that wants to up their hair game.

I have recently purchased some GHD curling tongues and wanted to get some heat protector spray for my hair. I went to the superdrug hair aisle and straight away the beautiful batiste metallic tins caught my eye, then the price, then I was instantly in love. My hair type is long, thin and a bit limp so I then shoved anything that might help my hair into my basket. This included the heat protector spray, Hairspray and XXL plumping powder.

The Stylist Range also includes a frizz tamer spray, hair oil, texturising spray, volume spray, XXL volume spray and even more!

Heat & Shine protector Spray.
This product is just amazing. Every time I use it my hair is protected, un damadged and super shiny and glossy. I use this product every time I curl my hair, and if I am going out and want extra shine and gloss.

Hold me Hairspray
This product provides 24 hours of support and strength to any hair style. This hair spray is perfect for holding in tight curls or waves and does not make the hair look crispy and dry. This hairspray is also really easy to brush out if you want to change your hair style, or just use it to add texture to your hair. The big tin also means it lasts forever and for the price that is currently is in superdrug (£2.99) on offer, you really cant go wrong. This is the best hair spray I’ve ever used – there you go I’ve just admitted it, now go and snap this massive aqua tin of goodness up!

XXL Plumping Powder
This stuff will amaze you. A few years ago my friend from uni revealed how her pony tail looked so perfectly big and bouncy – plumping powder. If you have never used this product before I urge you to try it as it will become a hair staple for you instantly. This powder acts like a plumping glue when dusted (LIGHTLY) on your roots it holds and adds  volume to the limpest of hair. I now use this product every time my hair is in a pony tail or every time I want that bouncy blow dry look as it supports my hair and keeps it looking amazing all day. This stuff even holds your hair in the wind and rain!!! The powder is white when applied but dries clear so no need to worry that your hair is grey/looks like dandruff!

I would always recommend Batiste to any one who asked my opinion on hair care. I think that this stylist range is just as good as any high end one and certainly looks the part on your bedroom shelf or dressing table. Its the product that your mates will ask you about when they come over and get ready with you before a night out!

Batiste is great! I especially love it if my hair is slightly greasy and I want to do French plaits. It makes it so much more manageable! Plus it smells great! Thanks for the great post, I’ve been wondering whether or not to try that powder out but I think I will now! 💕xx
