The best affordable every day facial cleanser

Hello beauts!

This blog post is about one of my all time favourite beauty staples. I keep this product stocked up in my toiletry cupboard so I never go a day without it.

Those of you that have read my blogs for a while now should know that I love products that are good quality and affordable. Well this facial cleanser is definitely that.

Nivea is a brand I have used for years as it really gets on well with my skin. I don’t believe in changing your skin routine for some new and amazing hyped product if you’ve already got your own routine nailed. I also use Nivea’s range of moisturisers along with the facial wash as I think the combination works perfectly for maintaining everyday great skin! Read about those here.

I use the Nivea Gentle Cleansing cream facial wash for dry and sensitive skin. I stock up in Boots – its currently on offer for £1.57 and I just had a heart attack as this price is the cheapest I’ve seen it for ages!!! #bestdayever

This facial wash contains almond oil. As we all know everyone is telling us to eat a hand full of almonds everyday, so obviously this face wash contains the correct ingredients to keep your skin healthy. This facial wash stops my skin from breaking out and maintains its moisture without drying it out. I have been using this product for well over a year and my skin looks a lot better for it. I don’t look tired, I don’t get dry patches, and my skin keeps clean.

I tend to use a 10p sized amount in the shower. I simply lather it up in my hands and then massage it into my face & neck. This cleanser is also soft and sensitive on the eyes -WHOOP.

I know a lot of people say don’t cleanse in the shower as its drying for the skin, but that statement doesn’t apply to this product. Also for those of you that need to be up and ready for work everyday and don’t have time to spend hours on skin care then this is the product for you. It removes dirt and grime and makes your morning face transform into your game playing, boss bitch face ready to slap on a bit of make up (or not) and face the day.

The only thing that this product is not amazing at is removing heavy make up. For my evening skin routine I tend to have more time, and want to spend more time on my skin. This is when I use my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, Clarins eye make up remover, and Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish.

This is the perfect facial cleanser for all skin types and for all ages. This is a great first skin cleanser for those of you that are younger. You don’t have to follow the crowd and splurge out on £20 cleansers if you don’t know what you would like for your skin yet!

Which facial cleanser do you use? Do you use one at all? Let me know in the comments below beauts!

Have a lovely week!

Wow that sounds like such a good product for so little money! I’ve been using the Vitamin E (from Superdrug) range and they have a really good dual cleanser that is pretty damn good at taking your make up off and leaving your skin really soft and fresh.
