Kim Kardashian West might not be your favourite person, but this lipstick will make you love her just a little bit.
I’m obsessed with nude lipstick. My go to looks most days are a brown smokey eye and a nude lip. I think they look really classy and effortless. Once I saw this one in John Lewis I knew I needed to add it to my collection.
As you all know if you read my blog I am a huge fan of Kim K.W and Charlotte Tilbury. To find out why I love them both you can read my beauty tag post —> HERE. Charlotte Tilbury have recently released a collection of Lipsticks based on female celebrities that Charlotte either adores, or has worked with on a regular basis. Over the years Charlotte has had to mix a few different lipsticks together to create the perfect lip shade for her client. For her ‘Hot Lips’ collection Charlotte Tilbury decided to use her mixed shades and create them into the shades she uses for her clients such as Sienna Miller, Kate Bosworth, and Victoria Beckham.
Once I knew that CT was bringing out a shade for Kim in her ‘Hot Lips’ collection I was really happy! I love Kim’s make up looks, they are always flawless and classic. We all know that a nude lip and contour are a match made in heaven. Of course the Charlotte Tilbury Kim K.W lipstick was going to be a nude, with a hint of rose gold.
I love Charlotte Tilbury make-up, in particular her lipsticks. I already have a lot of her lipsticks including ‘Nude Kate’ & ‘Bitch Perfect’ and they are really good quality. I feel like they are long lasting and moisturise my lips. The ‘Hot Lips’ lipsticks are shaped differently to CT other lipsticks. I find that the squared off end is actually easier for application than any other lipsticks. I also adore the little engraved perfect lip print that only appears on the ‘Hot Lips’ collection.
They also look absolutely beautiful in your handbag. The rose gold case just oozes luxury to me, and makes you automatically treat it like its one of your children, never letting it go out of your sight. Also all of your friends instantly want to know what it is, then try it out!
On my skin tone this lipstick doesn’t look too nude – like its the colour of my skin all blending into one looking like I have no lips whatsoever. I think it looks great for day time and night time and perfect for whatever the season. Without flash and with flash this lipstick is just beautiful.
These lipsticks are £23. This may seem like a lot of money but the quality is so good. You are buying a beautiful piece to add to your collection so to me its work every penny. I would recommend these lipstick for young women in their 20’s and older. These lipsticks are too mature for teens I think, unless brought as a gift.
Hope you have a beautiful day,
