November was a fun and festive month for me, kicking off with bonfire night and ending with all of the joys of preparing for Christmas and visiting Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Here are the special things that I was loving in this busy month!
Let’s start with the beauty favourites.
I felt that this month my skin was in really good condition however I did get an oily t-zone as per usual – some things never change! Therefore I have loved using a powder. The Lo’real infallible 24 hour matte powder has really helped matte my skin and stopped too much shine this month! I love that it comes in a little compact with a powder sponge and mirror. It’s been a constant in my everyday make up and will continue to be until it runs out!
I have also loved a lip gloss. In particular this lip perfecting one from Clarins. When it’s cold and windy outside I like to tie up my hair in a messy bun and wear a lip gloss. I have found this one to be long lasting, not too drying and provides a pretty pink shimmer to my lips! I even wear it to work!
Finally I have fallen in love with the Benefit Dandelion blusher. It’s super rosy and with a hint of shimmer it creates the most beautiful rosy cheeks – perfect for this time of year when the weather is really cold! I love Benefit products, I have asked for the ‘cheekathon’ palette for Christmas so fingers crossed Santa pulls through! Do you have any of the Benefit blushers?! What do you think of them?!
I have one skincare favourite this month.
My skincare favourite this month has to be my Nivea creme care balm/stick deodorant – you can read more about it here. To give a brief summary I have fallen in love with how quick drying, hydrating and good this deodorant is. I have actually been converted from using a spray deodorant. This is definitely one of my top finds of 2016!
My favourite accessory…
This month has been my new woolly beanie hat from John Lewis. Isn’t it beaut?! I thought that nobody really has a hat with a blue pom-pom or loves a glass of prosecco as much as me haha! This hat has actually gone with all my outfits too. It’s super soft and looks super stylish. I’d definitely recommend this if you need a new winter hat. Although this style doesn’t suit everyone you can’t really go wrong with a beanie!
My festive favourite this month has been this tea towel from Waitrose. My mum bought me this for mine and my boyfriends new home! We have loved getting our Christmas tree and decorations this year, and are both really excited for Christmas. As you might know I moved down to Essex from the Midlands this summer so I miss home a lot. My mum loves robins so actually every time I look at it I think of her.
My TV favourites this month have been The Crown on Netflix and ITV’s ‘I’m a Celebrity get me out of here!’
The Crown is such a beautifully made programme – you can definitely see how Netflix have spent £100 million on it! The Costumes, sets, and acting is so well done and completely tasteful to the Royal family – perfect for a binge watch on a weekend snuggled on the sofa.Obviously I’m a celeb is a winner for everyone in the UK! I love it so much, I’ve also now got a huge crush on Joel Dommet who is so hot!! Well done to Scarlett winning for the girls too this year!
My favourite song this month has been ‘I would like’ by Zara Larsson. She is so sassy! I love her songs, and her voice. Her sense of style is also one to be admired too.
What have your favourites been this month? Link me them on Twitter or Instagram! I should also mention that I went to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland this November. I had the most magical day with a good 20 of my best friends, eating, singing and drinking and getting fully submerged into the festivities! I would definitely say its worth a trip as I guarantee you’ll love it! – if you do go take a read of my guide for the best tips to make your trip as magical as it can be!
Hope you had a Wonderful November,
