Last week I turned 25!. I had a lovely day and was gifted with lots of beautiful birthday presents from my loved ones!. I enjoyed writing my post last year for what I got for my 24th birthday so thought I’d make it tradition and do it again this year!
I had a lovely birthday this year. I went back home to Nottingham; saw all my family, and ate amazing pizza at Oscar and Rosie’s restaurant. I then wanted to have an amazing night of dancing the night away with the girls but the snow stopped us!. We ended up all trekking through a blizzard to get to our local and having a good old catch up with a few bottles of wine.
This year I didn’t really ask for much believe it or not!. This was a different birthday to usually too. This is the first birthday I celebrate being engaged!. It was lovely to receive gifts that will help me with wedding planning, and that I can use on my wedding day!
I’m obsessed with this grey suede handbag from Topshop. My fiance got this for me and I love the loop detail and the colour! I tried to get a link online but its sold out!.
This book caught my eye a while ago. It’s all about a girl in medieval Russia who is trying to escape. She then chooses a way – magic. I can’t wait to start reading this! I have realised this is part 2 of a trilogy! I have also ordered book one from amazon to collect this week!
I have had my eye on this mascara since it came out. I’ve been using it every day now since my birthday and I think its amazing!. It really separates and lengthens my lashes!
The Charlotte Tilbury ‘instant look in a palette – beauty glow’ It is that beautiful I think it might be the make up that I save and use on my wedding day. This present from my girls and they made an excellent choice. I also got one of the eyes to mesmerize cream shadows in shade ‘Bette’ which is a pearly gold and super easy to apply.
I love Lush – in particular their bubble bars. I got two of the cream egg bubbleroons for my birthday and I cant wait to use them! I also got the new benefit HOOLA LITE bronzer. This is such a great colour for my skin. It comes with the perfect brush and is really long-lasting.
This was such a lovely present to get from my mum. I have actually been looking for ‘please be my bridesmaid’ cards for ages so the fact that my mum found them was fate. Although I’m still undecided about my bridesmaids so I need to get thinking real quick!
That’s it! I also got a few more lovely gifts but you’ll have to head over to my instagram to see what else I got. What did you get for your birthday this year? Or what have you got on your birthday wish list? Also check out my 25 things I have achieved before turning 25 post if you haven’t already!
Lots of Love,
