10 tips to help you lose weight and keep it off!

Hello Beauts!
As a few of you know being healthy to me is everything. It stops me from feeling poorly, exhausted, negative and having low self esteem. I never thought I would be healthy but life got in the way illness crept into my family, and suddenly I realised your health is the most precious thing you have, and you should pro-long it for as long as possible. So two years later and four stone lighter here I am writing this post to help YOU.

Beautiful Baubles you can buy on the high street

So this is the first year I get to pick my own baubles for my own Christmas tree in my first home! It has been a fun process scouting shops and the internet for the perfect theme for my Christmas decorations! I thought I’d share with you what I’ve been looking at so far in order to let you know the best baubles you can get on the high street this year.

Currently my interior style is white and dark blue. I call it a Moroccan/Greek theme with a few bits of silver thrown about in the form of lampshades, candles and cushions. Therefore I thought it would be a good idea to go with baubles that might fit this theme. All of the below baubles are under £10 and are really quite beautiful.

  1. £1.50 Silver Unicorn Bauble – Primark
  2. £5.00 Pink Peacock Bauble – M&S
  3. £5.00 Gold Pinapple Bauble – M&S
  4. £2.00 Gold Mirror Bauble – Asda
  5. £6.00 Beaded Pink and Silver Bauble – M&S
  6. £1.50 Candy Cane Bauble – Primark
  7. £2.00 Pearlised Bauble – John Lewis
  8. £5.00 Peacock Feather Bauble – John Lewis
  9. £3.50 Snowshill Bauble with Feather – John Lewis

I also picked up these three baubles from Wilko! All were 75p! I am going to hang these on my door handles, or curtain ties to make my furnishings look even more festive!

Along with these baubles I am also on the hunt for some pretty chocolate baubles, or chocolates to put in a silver dish under my tree. Also ever since I was born my mum has got a Disney Bauble for her tree, so this year I was going to get one for my tree to remind me of her and my family. Any Disney Characters that you could recommend? I’d quite like a Pocahontas or Tinkerbell bauble.

Which bauble is your favourite? Are you decorating your house for Christmas for the first time or are you an experienced Christmas decorator? If you have any hints and tips let me know on my Twitter and Instagram, or let me see a photo of all your decorations as I am sure they are as beautiful as you!

I hope you have fun putting up your Christmas tree decorations with your loved ones this year,

Perfect make up for the workplace

I love my day job as an analyst, everything is constantly different and no two days are the same. My job is quite nerdy spending most days doing excel formulas or presenting my work in meetings to seniors. I don’t really like to wear much make up to work, I always feel like I like the quality of my work to become a memory with a colleague, not the multiple layers of foundation, highlight and eye makeup.
